Welcome to TITANIA WINE CELLAR, INC.. TWCI is a pioneer wine company with a vision to emerge as the leading wine importer and distributor of premium brands.
TWCI was organized in 1982 as a family corporation with Madame Tita Meneses-Sugay as a major shareholder.
With its long and extensive association with global leaders in industry, TWCI handled the importation and distribution of major international wines and spirits brands for Domestic and Duty-Free markets which include Remy Martin, Cointreau, Joseph Drouhin, Antinori, Paul Jaboulet, Krug, Piper Heidsieck, Charles Heidsieck and Wolf Blass, among others.
The rapidly growing domestic and Duty-Free market led to the company’s decision in 1994 to concentrate fully on wines, carrying such prominent brands as Joseph Drouhin, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Kendall Jackson, Robert Mondavi, Trimbach, M. Chapoutier and Bollinger.
Three (3) years later, TWCI established THE SIX (6) CELLAR - Asia’s first temperature-controlled for fine wines like the underground cellars of France - with ample space for more than 200 types of wines, complete with wine-tasting facilities and paraphernalia.
The company’s brands resumed selling in March 2005 at Duty Free Philippines. After barely a year of operation, a steady growth in sales has been achieved.
Today, TITA NIA WINE CELLAR, INCORPORATED's Sales and Marketing force is composed of thirty (30) experienced and aggressive staff, some of whom are on provincial assignments. At the helm is the President, Madame Tita M. Sugay, an oenologist who has attended various international symposia and expositions and has visited the great wine regions of the world.
TWCI presently boasts of eleven (11) branches and franchises (see separate list) in various strategic locations nationwide. Head office is at Unit 8 Southway Condominum - Yakal St., San Antonio Village. Makati City, which also houses LA VIGNE BISTRO - a fine dining restaurant right inside the Grand Cellar. Operated by an affiliate corporation (VERRE WINE BISTRO, INC.), La Vigne also serves as a retail outlet of TWCI wines and a major venue for many important functions.
Confidence in TWCI’s stability and in the quality of its brands continues to lure business investors to enter into franchise agreements with the company.
